Exploratory / R&D

The messy front end: exploratory ML, prototyping, “let’s just try it and see.” I’m comfortable not knowing the answer yet.

Short engagements. Strategy, reviews, unblocking, and laying out the build plan. You keep the codebase.

How I think about problems

I’m a software generalist. I work across frontend, backend, AI, and infrastructure, which is the range early startups need from one person.

I look at problems from a wide angle instead of fixating on one domain. Most of my client work sits at the intersection of full stack AI with fields ranging from business automation to health to creative work. The thinking is the same: understand the problem, pick the simplest thing that works, ship it; while keeping business realities in sight.

That translates to helping you de-risk ideas. Through advisory work and by building proofs-of-concept and lightweight MVPs, you get to try something on before making a big commitment. Once an idea proves its worth, I partner with you to plan and guide the production build, pulling in the right mix of human specialists and AI agents for the job.
